For the most part the story progressed smoothly with no unexpected events, I found certain parts of the story bothering but essentially shrugged it off.
If I had to describe the story, it’s essentially… generic to some extent. But relatively peaceful so it was indeed a good choice for me. In the common route you go through all of the heroines being struck by the poverty curse through one way or another and thus forced to live with Daichi. From there the route splits into different heroines. Once you choose the route, Daichi runs around tripping all over the flags and pressing the right buttons for the heroine in question
Once they fall in love with each other, hscenes here and there, light drama happens for Daichi and the heroine to overcome before achieving a happy end. Wrapping things up with a brief epilogue and credit roll before returning to the title.
Overall it was… average, yep average. If it were horrible then there would be something to rant about and if it were above average then there would be something to talk about but when it’s average like this… nothing really comes out.
Tomorrow will finally time to start Tokyo Babel. I’ll probably be cautiously approaching it. While there has pretty much been no Propeller games that disappointed me outside of Bullet Butlers (which I sort of dropped out of disinterest half way through) at the same time, my expectations for the story is pretty high so it has big shoes to fill.
We’ll see how things go tomorrow.
