This is good.
For one you have Sugita voicing your best friend character, that’s already a positive point but the story itself is also very interesting so far. The only doubt that I’m currently holding is what role the protagonist is supposed to take.
As it stands, contrary to typical stories where the protagonist is the one doing the fighting with the heroines ranging from being his comrades to being normal civilians, in this case the protagonist himself is the civilian with little connection to military life. Or to be more blunt, all three of them are side character material in terms of roles.
I don’t suppose we’re going to spend the entire story just hearing the protagonist complain about his daily life falling apart so hopefully he’ll take an important role in the future. Though the protagonist aside, at the very least the opening seems to indicate that the remaining heroines are going to harden up as the story passes.
In any case it’s a very promising story, I hope they’ll keep up this pace. The only thing to nitpick at so far is that it feels a bit like the “girl” part of things was forced into the story as, frankly, it’s bizarre to deal with a military story but not a single male is to be sighted. I mean, yeah, it’s an all girl unit and more importantly if they weren’t girls then there would be no heroines (and h-scenes) to go with and so on but it just seems a bit out of place in this sort of story.
