Not a story with many things to talk about. Just one thing to say is that it’s one of the more well done romances among the eroge medium with the love theme part of things done well without dumping a huge bucket of drama over the entire thing to make it into some soap opera. There’s other characters in love with the heroine, they obediently gave up without dragging the story through mud and moved on. It’s surprising how rare this sort of stuff happens.
Which, in retrospect makes you reflect upon how fantastic the usual romance is in eroge. Seeing as most of the heroines tend to be “popular” but apparently our protagonist is the only special person for her and no real rivals exist. Or at times, no males even exist. Aside from perhaps the obligatory best friend character whose role there is to be made fun of, mocked and… I don’t want to continue listing. A pitiable role indeed.
What’s more is that I didn’t expect this to come from a company more famous for their death game action stories.
Truly an unexpected find for the month. Well that’s part of the joy of reading eroge as well.
Off to finish Fortuna now.
